The Atlantic PATH Project is a research group within Dalhousie University, and is part of a national study investigating the effects of environment, lifestyle and genes on cancer.
The $42-million national study, known as as the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow Project, is funded by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer and is the largest cancer research project ever undertaken in Canada. The Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow Project will follow the health of 300,000 people between the ages of 35 and 69, for 30 years. Participants in the study will answer questions about health, diet and lifestyle; provide biological samples; and have various measurements taken. Other regions involved in the national study are British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.
GRAPHIC NATURE was hired by the the group to assist in developing marketing and communications that could effectively deliver the mandate of the group and engage Atlantic Canadians to volunteer for the study.
